The Carl D. Perkins Security & Protective Service (SPS)  Students worked event Security on Saturday September 13, during Pike County’s “Muscle on Main” event at the River Fill Arena. Ms. Beverly Compton along with seven of her SPS students worked event security, helping with parking, directing racers to the starting point, patrolling the Pit Area to keep unauthorized spectators out for crowd safety. The students worked the event along with the Pike County  Police officers.

What a valuable learning experience this was for our students, and valuable service for the community. Thanks for your hard work Ms. Compton and SPS students!
