Cleveland Job Corps Center -Labor Day Parade & Festival

The Cleveland Job Corps Center- was well represented at the 11th Congressional District Caucus 43 Annual parade and Picnic.
The Cleveland Job Corps Center Carpentry Instructor and trainee march will the local union that represents Ohio/Indiana /Kentucky… The Cleveland Job Corps Center was cheering an applauded during the parade and festival. The Carpenter in addition has a table.
The BCL Michael Taylor has the honor of kick off the Labor Day Parade. The Job Corps Center is Celebrating it 50 Anniversary a what way to show the community our thanks for their support
Enjoy the last days of summer and prepare to celebrate the emerging autumn season at one of Greater Cleveland’s longest standing traditions: 11th Congressional District Community Caucus 43rd Annual Labor Day Parade. Celebrate Communities Working Together during this historic parade which began in 1971 to showcase and encourage community and political empowerment.
This parade stepped off Monday, September 1, 2014 at East 146th Street Kinsman Avenue with Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge serving as Grand Marshal. The event ends at Luke Easter Park where parade participants will be able to gather at the pavilion for a meet and greet. Learn how to become a member of the Carpenters Union and work on the building and renovation of our beautiful city with the Indiana/ Kentucky/Ohio Regional Council of Carpenters Union. Also, water and book bags will be distributed by the City of Cleveland Department of Public Utilities at the Water Buggy and pavilion.
The Community can out and enjoy local high school bands representing Collinwood HS, Shaw HS and Warrensville Heights HS and a variety of drill teams. Meet local elected officials and candidates. Participate in a tribute to Labor Day Parade pioneer Ann Romans.
