The Charleston Job Corps Center (CJCC) recognized Jacob Lyttle and Micheal Pronesti culinary arts students from Carl D. Perkins (CDP). Students were recognized with certificates during the Monday Business Meeting, March 2, 2015. CJCC has an ongoing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CDP started in January 2015 to receive culinary arts students for paid Work Based Learning in the cafeteria. Students prepare and serve meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner during dining hours receiving hands-on learning while providing center assistance. Students live in the dorms and participate in recreation and leisure time activities with fellow CJCC students during their 6 week stay.
