JOB CORPS WORKS
Job Corps Works is becoming increasingly evident with companies, community organizations and throughout the Cleveland community. George Ed-wards, President of the Black Trades Council, was so impressed with the staff and students of the Cleveland Job Corps Center (CJCC) during his initial visit to the WARD-8 Roundtable meeting hosted at the CJCC, that he returned two months later. On April 16, 2015, Mr. Edwards, accompa-nied by Ms. Louise Johnson-Smith, Founder/President of Business Training Capital Resource, Inc., and a few of her colleagues, toured the CJCC.
The Sign & Display trade made a banner for Ms. Johnson-Smith’s Community Engage-ment Conference, hosted at Case Western Reserve University. Ms. Johnson-Smith was very pleased with the outcome and expressed her gratitude to the instructor and class. Community and Business leaders were impressed with the banner as well, which has led to many inquiring about touring our center. GREAT JOB!
