On May 12, 2016 Medical Administrative Assistant  (MAA) students Jada Hawkins and Kala Bridges, along with Joan Robinson BCL Director, volunteered two hours to assist the Disable American Veteran (DAV) and the Golden Corral Restaurant with its Support Our  Veteran Fundraiser . The fundraiser was held to send veterans’ children to Camp Corral in June 2016. Camp Corral is a summer camp for children of wounded, injured or fallen military service members. During the event a total of $69.00 was collected from the patrons visiting the restaurant.
