Welcome Ms. Rackley!

Angela Rackley, has been hired as the new Center Director at the Sacramento Job Corps Center, effective April 10, 2017. Ms. Rackley has more than 20 years of professional experience working with “at-risk” youth, which includes 12 years of experience working with Job Corps staff and students. Most recently, Ms. Rackley served as the Center Director at the Albuquerque Job Corps Center and prior to that at the Little Rock Job Corps Center. She began her career at Job Corps in 1996 as a Residential Advisor at the Glenmont Job Corps Center and left Job Corps for a time. While away, Angela served as Executive Director for Youth Empowerment Services, a non-profit agency, which specializes in counseling, comprehensive reproductive care, and case management services for at-risk youth ages 21 and under. Angela returned to Job Corps full-time in 2012 and served as the Social Development Director at the Glenmont Job Corps Center and also gained valuable corporate office experience in the Social Development area. Ms. Rackley has excellent leadership skills for managing and motivating both staff and students to maximize Center performance.
Ms. Rackley is the mother of four amazing young adults, of whom two are just about to complete graduate school and two are pursuing their college undergraduate studies. She is an avid reader, horseback rider, and tennis player and loves to travel in her spare time.
Needless to say we are all extremely excited about Ms. Rackley joining the Sacramento leadership team!
