Braylon’s words moved the crowd when he expressed, “It was a life changing opportunity once I stepped on to the Job Corps grounds. Staff made me feel like I could accomplish anything.” Nikki presented him with a certificate of appreciation and welcomed the next student graduate speaker.

“Job Corps changed me to the person I knew I could be, and challenged myself to make my family proud of me,” Joseph Bardgett explained to the audience. Joseph completed the Culinary Arts program and has received all of his certifications for his trade. He thanks all the staff for the constant support he received, and gave a special thanks to the Residential Advisors who became family to him. Joseph also had a message for all future students, “Stay strong when faced with challenges, remember the reason why you are here.” Nikki Garcia also presented Joseph with a certificate of appreciation, and applauded his speech with the audience.
