Building the Future…. Restoring the Past

On July 18, 2018, The  Edison Job Corps Academy BCL and  selected students from the Carpentry department volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to support building a home for a family in need the carpentry students were professional, and demonstrated the skills learned in carpentry such as reading blue prints, shaping and cutting wood, safety guidelines and helping to shape the roof and cleaning and organizing the work site the Job Corps carpentry students worked to fulfill its mission. “Loretta Rivers Home Owner Service Manager and Kamili Williams CEO and President of Habitat for Humanity” greatly appreciated the effort of the students. On behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plainfield & Middlesex  County, thank you so much for coordinating an amazing group of volunteers from JobCorp-Edison on July 18th.  We are extremely grateful for all of your generous support, time, and ENERGY in making the group build in Plainfield a major success! I hope to work with you and your group again some time in the future.
