Potomac JCC Success Story – Meet Mr. Frankie Washington

Potomac JCC Success Story

After quitting school, my mother was telling me to do something with my life. She suggested that I enroll into Job Corps program to get a trade, I didn’t go right away, I waited two years and then enrolled myself into Potomac JCC. I took the Culinary Arts trade, completed, and went into the advance training. I started working at Potomac after my advance training. I have been working for eight years now. I was the SGA President, student ambassador and Rec. Aide.
The staff at Job Corps kept me well informed about the reality of life after Job Corps. Life is wonderful after Job Corps. I am now an employee here at a Potomac JCC as a cook, using my trade and skills I’ve learned.
