Albuquerque Staff and Students attend luncheon in Congressman Pearce’s Honor

Albuquerque Job Corps staff and students were able to attend a special luncheon in honor of the Honorable Congressman Steve Pearce

sponsored by the Great Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce.    The event took place on October 28th at the Hotel Albuquerque Hotel of Old Town.  This was the first time we have attended a function in his honor as he represents the southern part of the state mostly.  However, since he has constituents very close to the center, we wanted to touch base with him on a local level.  In 2002, Congressman Pearce was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, where he served three terms. He then returned to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010, and represents New Mexico’s only conservative voice in Washington.  Congressman Pearce was appointed by his peers to serve on the House Committee on Financial Services and looks forward to making New Mexicans’ voices heard, helping to create jobs in southern New Mexico, and fighting for the liberty of all Americans.
