Staff of the BJCA facilitated several fundraising events to collect money in order to give our trainees with children a Christmas Party on center the last day school before their holiday break. The party included arts and craft activities, Santa arriving on his sleigh and Christmas presents for each of the 42 kids.

On August 14, 2010 the Brooklyn Job Corps Academy students and staff participated in Bedford-Stuyvesant’s yearly Universal Hip Hop Parade with style. Students with the direction of recreational staff, Mr. Cuevas spray painted hats and shirts to reflect their individual since of style.
