Brunswick Job Corps students helped the organization known as “Keep Brunswick-Golden Isles Beautiful ” with a massive recycling effort of old electronics and paper.Several tons were collected at the local Mall parking area and disposed of by professionals.
On April 19th 70 students and 10 instructors from Brunswick Job Corps , spent three hours picking up trash on one of our counties scenic highways.They filled 40 large trash bags for county officials to come pick up

On October 8th, a team of 8 students from Brunswick Job Corps Center was awarded a Blue Ribbon for their submission to fight bullying, and in particular cyber -bulling. In celebration , center director Mel Gaines encouraged students and staff to wear orange the following Wednesday; which many did.
Brunswick Job Corps sponsored a career fair on October 19th in the center gym for its students. However it was also open to the public as well. twenty one tables represented local companies , educational institutions, and the military. Two students made connections which may result in jobs

On August 19th 6 Brunswick Job Corps PCT students along with their instructor, helped the American Red Cross ,Southern Region conduct a suceesful blood drive. Our location registered 32 donors, and 22 units were collected.
