The Youth2Youth,Partners4Peace(Y2Y) student ambassadors at Carl D. Perkins Job Corps kicked off the new year with a”New Year, NewYou” health fair Jan.25. The event was part of the ongoing efforts of the student ambassadors to promote peace and encourage all students and staff to be “a better you in mind, body and soul!”

Perkins Student Government Association (SGA) learns about state government during a visit to the KY State Capitol in Frankfort. On January 16, the Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center, partnered with the American Red Cross to hold a much needed Blood Drive. The Perkins Team of students and staff donated 25 usable units of blood. The next drive is scheduled for the month of April.
