The Detroit Job Corps Center met with the University of Detroit Mercy about the ReBUILDetroit program. This program was designed to increase the number of underrepresented students in biomedical sciences. The Detroit Job Corps Center will have graduates that continue their STEM education in programs such as ReBUILDetroit.

The Detroit Job Corps Center and The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Cleary University meet to discuss forming a collaboration. The Center serves a community of students, entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, managers, corporations and small business owners. The Center provides real world instruction in the development and implementation of entrepreneurship programs.

Wednesday March 9. 2016, Detroit Job Corps Center students visited the Detroit District office of Junior Senator Gary Peters of Michigan. The students met with Senior Senate Aide Corri Wofford.
