More than $900 was donated in early December to St. Anthony’s Hospice by the ECC Job Corps Fund Raising Committee.  “We can not thank you enough for your support.  This is an early Christams!  We can always count on Clements Job Corps,” stated St. Anthony’s Hospice Executive Director Mark Chumler.

Members of the HCHS Energy Club toured the solar panel and wind turbine projects of the Earle C. Clements Job Corps electrical class to study the feasibilty of a similar project at their school.  The tour was a result of the Univeristy of Kentucky Energy Class held at ECC Job Corps.

More than 80 students from local high schools and Earle C. Field Representative for Senator Rand Paul,  Christina B. Peterson toured the Deckhand and YRC Roadway Training programs of the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy before attending the quarterly Community Relations Council meeting and lunch.  She reported she was very impressed with the programs and campus and wants to visit again in the near future!

Field Representative for Congressman Ed Whitfield, Ed West is not only an active Earle C. Clements Job Corps Community Relations Council  member, he accompanied the ECC BCL on a tour of River View Coal, LCC in support of a Work-Based Learning partnership between ECC Job Corps and River View Coal developing internships for ECC Job Corps students interested [...]

As part of the ECC Make A Difference projects, the SGA students raised $512.76 for Union County School Family Resource and Youth Services Centers winter cloths drive.  An additional $155.00 was donated by the ECC Community Relations Council and ECC staff donated 500 canned goods to the centers.

Since 2005, the Deckhand Training Program of the Earle C.
