Fred G Acosta Health Care students attended the Pima County Youth Career Workforce Development Healthcare Expo November 14. Over 20 students were given the opportunity to acquire information from industry representatives in an event that featured breakout sessions and a job fair format.

13 Fred G Acosta students and 7 staff members attended the Hi-profile “Building Bridges Awards Luncheon” sponsored by Linkages, Inc. The organization recognizes businesses and individuals in the community who contribute to the success of local citizens with disabilities. 8 students particpated by registering invitees and 2 other students provided audio/visual expertise for the program.

Fred G Acosta Career Transition Supervisor Joe Romano attended the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce “Noche de Exitos Gala” , an awards dinner that recognizes members of the local business community. The evening included entertainment and excellent food.
