Fred G. Acosta Job Corps Spring Graduation

Pomp and Curcumstance was definitely a high note at Fred G. Acosta on Friday, March 10, 2017. Family, Friends, Staff, Teachers, and everyone associated with the Center filled the Center to cheer and congratulate students who completed one of 10 programs. Keynote speaker, Richard Fimbres, Tucson City Councilman, gave a pointed address that focused on achievement and the next step that leads to yet another step. Education and trianing does not end here it continues throughout life based on changes and innovations. Teaming with co-workers, friends and family members is what life is all about. This an exciting day, enjoy and celebrate, however when you reach a pause and tomorrow beigns you start another step into your future. Richard commented after the ceremony that this Center is a show case and it is a golden opportunity for youth. He could see why this is a true tresure for our community and workforce development.
