Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort

Hurricane Sandy has passed but its aftermath is still being felt by numerous families on the east coast. Heeding the call for help students from the Keystone Job Corps Center partnered with students from the Holy Family Academy helping sort and load supplies bound for Long Island, New York.

Eighteen students from the Keystone Job Corps Center’s certified nursing assistant class helped the local chapter of the American Cancer Society with their annual Daffodil Day fundraiser. In concert with the American Red Cross the Keystone Job Corps Center conducted its fifth and final center-wide blood drive in 2011.  The November drive netted an additional 86 units; bringing the grand total to 455 for the year.
