Pinellas County Job Corps

The Pinellas County Job Corps Center (PCJCC) students received instruction and training on February 2 – 3, 2016 from the Fit 4 Duty (F4D) team, under the leadership of Colonel Thomas Hundley. Fit for Duty is a workforce resiliency program that educates individuals in the areas of leadership, physical fitness, mental fitness, emotional fitness, spiritual fitness and nutritional fitness as a means to better prepare them for the rigors they will face in the workforce. PCJCC students received guidance, advice, and motivation to assist them and to tap into and release their leadership potential to help themselves and others.

The students of PCJCC said that the experience was life changing and that they benefited greatly from the F4D teaching. Similarly, several students expressed that due to the training, they learned how to let go of the emotional baggage that was keeping them stagnant in life and that they felt better equipped for success. The Pinellas County Job Corps students look forward to having F4D back on their campus for even more trainings on growth and development.
