On Dec. 17, 2012 – ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation’s Ark-La-Tex Chapter provides a presentation to the students and staff annually with emphasis placed on the students being safe during the holiday and during the time that they are on leave from the Center. This presentation was provided to the students to help them “ThinkFirst” before they decide to drink and drive, text and drive or get in a car with someone that is drinking and decides to get behind the wheel of the vehicle. The presentation is done by those who survived from an accident and live to talk about it. Their lifesaving message is “Use Your Mind to Protect Your Body”.
