August 3, 2017, over 100 job seekers attended the Tug Valley Job & Resource fair in Belfry, KY. the event was cohosted by Congressmen Hal Rogers(R-KY) and Evan Jenkins (R-WV). Employers and educators form more than 40 business and schools offered jobs, education and training at the event.

Both Congressmen work hard for the Appalachian region and Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center was honored to assist with directing traffic, parking and assisting vendor and guest to their designated location. Students also had a change to talk with Congressmen Rogers and Jenkins about the Job Corps program and the types of training they are receiving.
