Carl D. Perkins has Bullying Prevention Presentation

Carl D. Perkins Job Corps Center has program on bullying on Monday, October 20, 2014. Mrs. Lola Ratliff, the Safe School Coordinator from the Floyd County School System presented the Perkins students with an anti-bullying and drug free program.

Perkins has been doing different activities throughout the month of October in observance of National Bullying Awareness month. Instructors have had classroom activities such as essays, poster contests and researching national statistics on bullying. However, Perkins continues to inspire, educate and involve others to join the movement and prevent bullying every day and not just in October. For the students and staff safety is top priority on the Perkins center.

The Perkins staff and students would like to thank Ms. Ratliff and the Floyd County School System for their continued support and collaboration with the center.
