Carl D. Perkins Job Corps graduate Larry Morand has completed advanced training programs for Smart Meter & Instrumentation and Overhead Line Construction at Oneonta Job Corps in New York.

That advanced training is now paying huge dividends. Morand began employment with Pro-Tel in Norwich, NY in July, starting at $20/hr. as a linemen.

Morand enrolled in the advanced training programs after completing the Electricity career technical training program at Perkins Job Corps.

“The Job Corps program really helped me out,” Morand said. “It saved my life in a way, and I am forever grateful. Thank you for everything.”
