Carl D. Perkins Job Corps helps train others using skills learned in classroom

Office administration students at the Carl D. Perkins Job Corps recently helped others at the Warco Housing Complex in Langley, KY by teaching skills learned in their career technical training class on center. On July 17, the Perkins Job Corps Office Administration students assisted residents with basic computer skills such as setting up emails and saving documents, while also going over how to dress for success and interviewing skills. Perkins Job Corps will conduct monthly workshops for the residents at the Warco Housing Complex to assist with writing, reading and communication skills and other trade-related information.

Perkins Job Corps is excited about this new partnership with Warco Housing and the Floyd County Housing Authority This is just one more way that our students can  practice their job training skills and help others in the community.
