Carl D. Perkins Job Corps students and staff, attended  the Martin Luther King Jr. day celebration  program “A Dream within a Dream” was presented by Pastor Justin Preston from Blackman Chapel church from Clinchco, Virginia, and sponsored by  the Big Sandy Community & Technical College Regional Office of cultural Diversity.

Students and staff, were welcomed by Dr. George D. Edwards President of the college, and entertained with inspirational music by the big sandy singers, before Pastor Preston begin his program with a strong quote from Martin Luther King Jr. stating “The time is always right to do what is right”. After the Pastor Preston completed his program,  The students and staff, were treated to a special lunch, and discussions with Pastor Preston and other staff from the College.
