Carl D. Perkins students celebrate Older American Month with area residents.

Every May, the Administration on Aging, part of the Administration for Community Living, leads our nations observance of older Americans Month. This year, Carl D. Perkins Job Corps got involved by working with the Riverview Nursing home in Prestonsburg, KY.

Students visited the center during the recreations activities and assisted with the bingo games. Math Instructor Carol Osborne, who accompanied the students said “The students’ and residents smiles said it all-that it was a great visit.”
