On the morning of December 21, Culinary students, Chef Terry Marr’s, and Business Community Liaison, Jimmie Slone hit the kitchen, at 6:00am to begin the preparation for pancakes and sausage for the  Brothers of the Wheel Organization and Floyd County Head Start breakfast with Santa. The students and staff fixed over 350 pancakes and 400 sausage links for the breakfast, then loaded it all up in hotboxes to be transported to Adams Middle School where the event was held.

Culinary students worked the rest of the day with local Prestonsburg High School cheerleaders serving the breakfast to  the 150 families that attended the event. The children had the opportunity to see Santa, and give him some last minute list items they had. All children received a toy and a new pair of shoes.
