Carl D. Perkins Wellness center hosted a Training Employee Assistance Program(TEAP) fair, in recognition of National Recovery Month. Staff were on hand to discuss the effect of drug addition, on the individual and their families and friends. In the Job Corps Program, the TEAP is another part of support for students entering the program. The TEAP offers several services from quitting smoking, to offering support while the student is in the Job Corps program, if they have had any past battles with alcohol and drugs.

The staff handed out informational pamphlets, and goodie bags to students that stopped by the fair. The National Recovery motto is one that rings true to so many people in all walks of life. The motto states “Prevention works, Treatment is effective, People Recover:. What a true statement. Thanks to the staff  in Perkins Wellness for your continued support of student’s well-being!
