Carville Job Corps Center celebrated it’s 2012 RED RIBBON WEEK with  a week of activities that  included an Awareness Day – Health Fair with local community health care  vendors; Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, DEA- Louisiana Drug Enforcement Adminstration, Louisiana Attorney Generals Office, Ascension Counseling, Al-Anon,MADD- Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Capital Area Human Services, and  CENIKOR. All of the participating  vendors gave student employees  an overview of  their how their agencies work to help their  communities.   The center’s  residential department held a door decorating contest.  A Drug free banner signing day for student  employees  to let their peers know they are Drug Free and plan to remain DRUG FREE!   A Drug-free mock tales social  culminated the Red Ribbon week  of events.
