The Charleston Job Corps Center (CJCC) operating under Horizons Youth Services (HYS) students volunteered on behalf of the YWCA Sojourners Women’s Shelter for the annual Thanksgiving Benefit Dinner on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, Charleston WV. Student volunteers included Regina Studivant, Asia Thomas, Felipe Phillips and Chasity Clowney from student leadership groups on center. The annual benefit dinner raises funds to support the shelter that provides housing to women and families. The Charleston Job Corps Center partners with the YWCA Sojourners Women’s Shelter by providing student volunteers for special events and is always grateful for the opportunity to serve.
