Charleston Job Corps Attends YWCA “Girls Night Out” Gala

The Charleston Job Corps Center operating under Horizons Youth Services attended the Girls Night Out Gala, August 25, 2018 at the Charleston Civic Center. The event has been held for 20 years and all proceeds go to the shelter for Domestic Violence of Charleston WV. A silent auction was held, dinner, live music and dancing.
Staff attending included Center Director, Angela Rackley and Nancy Shepherd, Business Community Liaison and YWCA Directors as well as women from the community. CJCC was a proud sponsor of the event.
Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Dept. of Labor that helps young people ages 16-24 improve the quality of their lives through academic and career technical training. The Charleston Job Corps Center is overseen by the Philadelphia Regional Office.
