Tia Welch, Business Community Liaison was invited to join WV U.S. Senate Candidate Shelley Moore Capito for a “Women with Shelley” lunch on Monday, June 30, 2014, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Marriott Town Center. Congresswoman Capito spoke to the many women gathered regarding her work in the House and her plans to become the next U.S. Senator from West Virginia. Congresswoman Capito is a longtime supporter of the Job Corps program. She served several years as the Co-Chair for the Job Corps Caucus and is an advocate for quality education and training. Congresswoman Capito served as National Job Corps Commencement Day Guest Speaker on August 24, 2012. Today, she addressed education, quality of life issues and employment. She desires the vote of all West Virginians to continue the fight and work on behalf of the great state of WV as the next U.S. Senator.
