Charleston Job Corps Center observed Patriot’s Day-Sept. 11, 2017

Charleston Job Corps Center observed Patriots Day, September 11, 2017 during Monday Business Meeting. Willie Brown, Center Director spoke to students and staff regarding the significance of the day when first responders and other brave men and women during the terrorist attacks on American soil on Sept. 11, 2001.

Willie Brown said, “Take time to reflect on your life. Take stock of where you are. Life is not promised, you never know what is going to happen. As you go through your day reflect; if you are not going in a positive direction, change.

In the United States, Patriot Day, observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance, occurs on September 11 of each year in memory of the people killed in the 2001 September 11 attacks. May we never forget!
