Charleston Job Corps Center Prepares Breakfast for Families at Ronald McDonald House

December 27th, 2018

Charleston Job Center students and staff prepared breakfast for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern West Virginia on December 16.  Three Students, Isaiah Smith Owens, Kiera Waters and Nadaysha Osborne and Two Staff, Nancy Shepherd, BCL and Tierah Williams, Career Services Secretary prepared to serve the four families whom were housed there while caring for a sick loved one with scrambled eggs, sausage patties toast and orange and apple juice.
The students were very happy to be able to give of their time and efforts to serve the families during their stay at the Ronald McDonald House.  The families were very thankful that we provided them an opportunity to relax while their breakfast was prepared and served.
Charleston Job Corps Center would like to continue this partnership monthly to increase student awareness of serving their communities.
