Charleston Job Corps Center recognizes Veteran’s-Nov. 9, 2015

CJCC Recognizes Veteran's

The Charleston Job Corps Center (CJCC) operating under Horizons Youth Services (HYS) recognized staff and student veteran’s during the Monday Business Meeting, Nov. 9, 2015. Teresa Sypolt, HR Manager and Tena Jones, Executive Secretary presented certificates of appreciation to our center veterans and thanked them for their service. Staff recognized during the assembly include Michael Bratcher, Gary Evans, Rodney Hamon, Stephanie King, Joshua Salinas, Frank Armstead, Michael Carter, Michael Briggs, Raymond Blust, Harold Williams, Gordon Wilson, Kenneth Dillard, Jeff Hall, Jeffrey Burdette, Andrea Harris and student Malcolm Gray.

Veteran’s Day will be observed Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015. Willie Brown, Center Director said, “On behalf of the CJCC team, Happy Veteran’s Day to all of our students and staff who have serve and continue to serve in the Armed Forces. We greatly appreciate your service.” A continental breakfast for the veteran’s was provided in the center director’s conference room following the assembly.

Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16-24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The Charleston Job Corps Center is overseen by the Philadelphia Regional Office of Job Corps and is operated by Horizons Youth Services.
