Senator Joe Manchin hosted an invitation only meeting on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 at 5th Quarter Restaurant, Charleston WV attended by Tia Welch, Business Community Liaison and Willie Brown, Center Director. The purpose of the meeting was to address the issues of West Virginia and the nation and gain feedback from constituents. Senator Manchin gave an overview of the issues and challenges facing the state and the nation. There was an opportunity extended for guests to ask questions and get feedback. Various topics were discussed such as substance abuse, veteran affairs, seniors, affordable health care, immigration reform and education.
