Charleston Job Corps Center welcomes Tom Pace-March 23, 2017

The career services department sponsored author Tom Pace on center to speak to the students for motivation, mentoring and encouragement during an all student assembly Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the center gymnasium. All new students receive the book, Mentor, The Kid & The CEO by Tom Pace with Walter Jenkins. Pace held smaller group sessions for new students in Career Preparation Period and students preparing to transition from the program in Career Transition Services.

Job Corps is a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16-24 improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The Charleston Job Corps Center is overseen by the Philadelphia Regional Office of Job Corps and is operated by Horizons Youth Services.
