Charleston Job Corps’ Robert Greene Meets Senator Manchin

Charleston was among the more than 250 vendors available to Job seekers looking for employment opportunities.

While manning the Job Corps booth, Robert Greene, Human Resources manager was honored to meet WV Senator Manchin and further discuss the benefits of the Job Corps Program. . Greene also stated, he gained at least 21 possible candidates to fill our current openings.

The statewide job fair was conducted 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, March 22, at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
Nearly 250 job vendors, including employers and job resources, were available. The event was free and open to the public.

Employers scheduled to be at the job fair included Charleston Area Medical Center, Thomas Health, Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Appalachian Power/American Electric Power, city of Charleston, Charleston Police Department, Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Postal Service, Mardi Gras Casino and Resort, Mountaineer Gas, West Virginia State University, West Virginia University, West Virginia State Police, West Virginia American Water and the West Virginia Division of Personnel.
