Charleston Job Corps Center operating under Horizons Youth Services (HYS) recognized the new road sign Curtis Price Way with a special unveiling on center Monday, Dec. 9, 2013. The event was well attended by staff, student representative, city officials, community members, family and friends. Mr. Willie Brown, Center Director gave opening remarks and thanked everyone for attending. Other remarks included Julian Browning, Student Government Association, Mayor Danny Jones, City of Charleston, Tia Welch, Business Community Liaison and Ms. Judy Price who stated it was a difficult time, but was thankful for what was taking place in honoring her late husband Curtis Price. The family members were presented with a replica road sign as memorabilia by Andy Richardson, Charleston City Council.
