Volunteer Cleveland Job Corps Center (CJCC) Safety Cadets, accompanied by CJCC Security Officer Belinda Bray, helped serve ice cream to nearly 475 indi-viduals who came out to enjoy the beauti-ful Cleveland weather. The event had a great turnout and was a wonderful oppor-tunity to increase the public image of the CJCC in the community. What better way to enjoy a hot summer day than with a sweet treat? The Cleveland 5th District Police Department has been very busy this August hosting Ice Cream Socials at the Collinwood Recreation Cen-ter, Coit Park and Groton Park. Events like these are a great way to help strengthen police, community relations and bring smiles to the faces of the neighborhood youth, adults, police and volunteers
