During our recent open house held on October 29, 2015 an employer wrote a beautiful letter to Mrs. Denneth Campbell that I would like to share. Job well done Mrs. Campbell!!!!

Mrs. Campbell,

Today I visited Job Corps to attend a job fair/open house. However, what I received was so much more. You were the first person that I met. You greeted me with the warmest smile and made me feel so welcomed. After learning about my role as Employment/Education Coordinator with Front Steps, you took your time to show me to the auditorium and returned with your business card just as you promised. As I sat through the presentation, it was awesome to hear the stories of those who went through the program and learn about their journeys to success. Following the presentation, I signed up for tour and thoroughly enjoyed the 2 gentlemen that guided my group. They are on their way to greatness! The dormitories were neat, clean, and orderly. I enjoyed meeting teachers, students, staff, and reading all the inspirational quotes and success stories throughout the different buildings. It was great to see with my childhood friend, Camille Allen doing something that she is so passionate about. She is so happy and couldn’t say enough positive things about her position and the Job Corps program.

Again, I came for a job fair/open house and left with a wealth of knowledge, contacts, and hopefully a future partnership/collaboration with Job Corps.

I am looking forward to having a table at your next job fair and I have already posted literature from today’s event all over my building. I didn’t forget, please let me know how I can get a t-shirt that everyone was wearing. Truly, “there is not success without –U”.
