A Student Goverment Assosiation is partnership with Harvest for Hunger in the 2011 Campain in order to raise money for the needy. Harverst for Hunger is a communiity- wide food and fund drive that is coordinated locally by the Cleveland Foodbank each spring to help local hunger centers serve the hungry people in the area. This year, the help of The Cleveland Job Corps Academy is critical. In 6 counties they serve. They provide food for over 225,000 people, 34% of which are children. In fact the Cleveland Foodbank’s distribution has increased 50% in the last two years. The Cleveland Job Corps Academy is fundraiseing by donating sales from the Bulldog Cafe to Harvest for Hunger. One dollar equals 13 cans of food. So far the Student Goverment Assoatiation has raised over $250.00 in this Campaign.
