Serrato Corporation – operated centers Cleveland Job Corps & Pinellas County Job Corps attended the National Job Corps Association (NJCA), 2016 Policy Forum in Arlington, VA., March 2 – 3, 2016. Twice a year Job Corps Center Directors, Business Community Liaisons, and corporate staff travel to the Washington, DC area to attend NJCA conferences. The conferences allow center staff, operators, and government officials the opportunity to view and discuss current issues facing the Job Corps (JC) program on a National level, in addition to new and upcoming policies that affect JC. They also, spend a day on Capitol Hill visiting congressional staff, updating them on current JC outcomes, student achievements, as well as soliciting their ongoing support of the Job Corps program.
