Cleveland Job Corps Center l Assists in Fifth District Pancake Breakfast

Job Corps Ambassadors assisted at the Fifth District Police Community Relations Committee Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 24, 2014. Patrol Officer Anita Howard stated, “Our partnership with the Cleveland Job Corps is invaluable. The ambassadors are great citizens and are always cordial and helpful young people. The seniors at our events are always pleased to see them. One of the goals of the Fifth District Police Community Relations Committee is to foster a positive relationship among police and the residents of the City of Cleveland. We accomplish this through programs and events where the Fifth District Police can gain moments to interact in a positive manner with the youth and adults in our community. These events and activities require help from our citizens and community partners like the Cleveland Job Corps. “
Student ambassadors helped to draw citizens of the community in by making signs and advertising for it right outside of the community center building while others signed in the guests and got them seated to serve them a hot breakfast meal. We look forward to attending this annual event in the future.
