CLEVELAND JOB CORPS CENTER TO HOST COMMUNITY BASKETBALL GAME

CLEVELAND JOB CORPS CENTER TO HOST COMMUNITY BASKETBALL GAME

The Cleveland Job Corps Center, hosted its first ever Community Basketball Game. Cleveland Job Corps students took on the Fifth District Neighborhood Police on Wednesday, March 3, from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm at the Cleveland Job Corps Center.  The Cleveland Job corps successfully won the game 80 to 46 in front of elected officials, family, friends, staff and the Cleveland Job Corps students. This was a wonderful event that exhibited team work and building a closer relationship between the Fifth District Neighborhood Police Department and our students. After the game we shared a celebration dinner where they presented us with the winning trophy, which is currently on display in our front lobby.

The Cleveland Job Corps and the Fifth District Neighborhood Police are committed to advancing its mission of public safety and a healthy community relationship. This gave our students and the Cleveland community a chance to unite through positive partnerships and to enrich public safety awareness as a whole.
