Cleveland Job Corps First Annual Breakfast with Santa

The First Annual Breakfast with Santa was held on December 7, 2019, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the Cleveland Job Corps Center’s Recreation facility. The free event was sponsored by the Cleveland Job Corps, Greater Collinwood Development Corporation, Councilman Polensek and Councilman Hairston.

Attendees took free pictures with Santa, played games, created Christmas crafts, and ate food donated by Gus’s Diner 185. Special guests Councilman Michael Polensek and Councilman Anthony Hairston joined in the morning fun and enjoyed the fellowship with the community. Project Warm and the Cleveland Public Library provided hats, gloves, and scarves to the children. The Library also gave out books. Cleveland Job Corps student volunteers provided exceptional service to each guest, assisted children with crafts, and relished in the holiday festivities.

This magnificent occasion attracted over 125 community residents, staff and their children, and students and their children. Breakfast with Santa was planned by the Cleveland Job Corps Business Community Liaison Harriet Hadley and Greater Cleveland Development Corporation Community Engagement Manager Kristian Hunter to spread holiday cheer, build neighborhood relations, and help bring awareness to the Cleveland Job Corps Center. A Special Thank You to everyone who came together to make this joyous occasion a huge success!
