In an effort two seek and welcome in more Hispanic students, Ramon Serrato, President of Cleveland Job Corps Serrato Corporation, Michael Taylor, Business and Community Liaison and Mike Salazar, Deputy Director of the Cleveland Job Corps, met with representatives of the Hispanic Roundtable on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Julia De Burgos at El Barrio in Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. This meeting was to get their feedback on how to provide better news coverage of the Latino community in Northeast Ohio. The community outreach meeting was attended by WEWS-TV/Newscahnnel 5 news management and multimedia journalist. They sought feedback and suggestions to improve serving the Latino community. One of the bright stars of the WEWS-TV/Newschannel 5 is its reporter Stephanie Ramirez.
