Nurse’s Aide Instructor, Carla Widener and her class were invited to attend the McGregor Home Luncheon on April 20, 2018. Each year, the McGreg-or Home honors their volunteers for all the help and support they provide to the facility. McGregor Home and the Cleveland Job Corps Center have been partners for over six years; and this year, the Center was the 2018 recipient of the Best Volunteer Award. Ms. Widener accepted the award on behalf of the Center. Residents and staff painted rocks and wrote inspirational quotes and heartfelt messages on each of the rocks and were placed on the tables. The decorated rocks were given to attendees, the stu-dents received Starbucks gift cards, and everyone received potted yellow geraniums in appreciation for their support.
