Cleveland Job Corps Student Success Story

After graduating from Logan High School in 2017, David Brindley didn’t know what career he wanted to pursue so he decided to move to the Cleveland area for more employment opportunities. His brother, Adam Brindley, graduated in 2018 from the Earl C. Clemons Job Corps Center in Kentucky as a Wire Technician and spoke to David about the program.

During his enrollment, David obtained certifications in Carpentry, Scaffolding, Pre-Apprentices and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). He advises new applicants to listen to their instructors and do what they ask without any hesitation. David contributes his success to his instructors who always helped and gave him good advice. He plans to continue working for J.S.J Interior as a carpenter and enroll in college to pursue an Engineering degree.
