On Friday, October 16, 2015 U.S Member of Congress Marsha L. Fudge hosted a Silence the violence listening session for high school students and Cleveland Job Corps. The session was to engage our youth with community stakeholders to develop strategies that lead to measurable actions for community safety. Congresswomen Fudge stated “This violence is hurting our communities. It is crippling us at our core and it must stop. By working together as a community we can build coalitions to develop strategies for neighborhoods to support safety on our streets”. The goal was to listen and learn about the challenges that our youth are going through.
